At the Choose France 2024 summit, Axens and Hunan Changyuan Lico announce their Joint Venture project for the production of Cathode Active Materials in France

Following the partnership agreement signed with the Hunan Changyuan Lico (China) industrial in September 2023, Axens is materializing its industrial ambitions in the energy transition sector by producing battery materials. The partners chose Northern France to build the plant. This joint industrial investment is estimated at 600 million euros, spread over several phases between 2027 and 2030, and will create 600 direct jobs.

Axens Regional Operations Center (R.O.C.) of Americas Announces New Relocation and Expansion for New Office In The Energy Corridor

Axens R.O.C. Americas has announced plans to relocate and expand Axens North America, Inc. and Petro-Chem Development Co., Inc. offices to the Republic Square building at 13501 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.

The move is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024. Axens recently received the fully executed lease that has been signed and approved by upper management in April 2024.

Axens et Toray Films Europe lauréats de France 2030 avec leur projet d’usine de recyclage chimique du PET à Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost (Ain)

La future usine de recyclage chimique du PET qui sera construite par Axens et Toray Films Europe à Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost a été retenue parmi les lauréats de France 2030 par le gouvernement.

Cette nouvelle unité industrielle permettra de produire 30 000 tonnes par an de PET recyclé chimiquement. Un projet qui va participer à la fois à la souveraineté française sur le plan des matières premières, mais également à l’essor de l’économie circulaire des plastiques en France et dans le monde.

Successful demonstration in Dunkirk of the CO₂ capture DMX™ process

Operational since April 2023 on ArcelorMittal’s Dunkirk site, the industrial pilot for the capture of CO₂ present in blast furnace gases has delivered promising results. The objective of this pilot is to validate the DMX™ capture process, developed by IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) and marketed by Axens, to enable the decarbonization of a whole range of industrial activities, including steelworks, cement plants, glassware manufacture, refining, chemicals and petrochemicals.
